Kettering University does not require faculty to take attendance. However, the U.S. Department of Education requires the Financial Aid Office to differentiate students who fail a class because they quit attending from those who fail a class based on merit.

Current Students

Students enrolled in a Kettering degree program may take selected coursework at other institutions if the need arises and the opportunity is available. Guest Applications are available online at the Registrar’s Office website or in the Registrar’s Office.

New Transfer Students

New Transfer Students

Students transferring to Kettering University may receive earned hours for a Kettering course for which the student has taken an equivalent course, in content and level, at their previous institution.
 
The following conditions apply:
        • Upon receipt of transfer credit information from the Admissions Office, coursework will be evaluated for transferability to Kettering University.
        • Only courses in which a C (2.0 on a 4.0 grade scale) or higher were earned will be evaluated for transfer credit.
