Recreation Center Hours

The Rec Center is now using summer hours.  Open hours are:Spinning

Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Saturday: 2 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Sunday: 2 p.m. - 9 p.m.

*All hours are dependent on staff availability*

7/2/08 - Due to an unexpected delay in the floor refinishing, the Rec Center will not be open on Monday, July 7 as planned. The company will apply the final coat of urethane on Monday. The odor is unpleasant, not healthy and foot traffic can produce dust and dirt that will mark the floor. It is expected that the Rec Center will open on Tuesday, July 8 as previously announced. There may be some residual odor and the wood basketball courts will not be ready for use until Friday, July 11. Basketball can be played on one of the synthetic courts. If all goes according to plan, the racquetball courts should be available on Tuesday, July 8. It is recognized that many members are anxious to return to the facility for their health and fitness. The Rec Center apologizes for any inconvenience.

*All facility hours are dependant on usage. These hours will be changed based upon usage patterns and appropriate funding. Any comments on hours should be referred to the Director. Hours may be reduced during final examination weeks. These will be posted in the Recreation Center at least one week in advance.
**Equipment issue service is located at the entry area from 8:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Recreation Center Closings

The facility will be closed at various times throughout the year for routine maintenance, commencement, recognized holidays, and break periods. During some holidays, the facility may reduce hours and/or close due to unavailability of support staff. Changes in hours will be posted in the Recreation Center at least one week in advance. During holiday or break periods, call the Recreation Center at 762-9REC for a taped message regarding days and hours of operation.
