 Former Assistant Director at Michigan State University,  Associate Director at University of Toledo and Director at the University of South Carolina

 Director of Recreation Services at Kettering University for 9  years having made numerous improvements to the Connie & Jim John Recreation Center and the development of Kettering Park.  An avid fitness enthusiast, bicycle rider, runner and tennis player, he is the proud father of two boys David VIII at Michigan State and Dan at Kettering. Mike SchaalMike Schaal, Director of Intramural Sports/Student Activities

Mike has been employed at Kettering since 1998.  He has a Master of Science in Physical Education and a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation from Eastern Kentucky University.  Mike works with student organization and Student Government in addition to his responsibilities with Intramural Sports and Sport Clubs.  He enjoys his free time with family as well as sports and being out of doors.  Mike has office hours in the Rec. Linda DvorscakLinda Dvorscak, Administrative Coordinator

Linda Dvorscak has worked at the Recreation Center since 1995 when the facility opened.  Linda is responsible for many administrative aspects of the facility including staff hiring, training, payroll, publications, equipment/supplies and record keeping as well as many other tasks.  She also teaches American Red Cross certification classes to Recreation Services staff. Michelle SteelmanMichelle Steelman, Administrative Coordinator

Michelle has been employed at Kettering since 1996.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in teaching from Central Michigan University and has a Master's in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College.  Along with working at the Rec. Center part time she is also a full time teacher for a local middle school.   Michelle has various administrative responsibilities at the facility including staff hiring, scheduling, training, payroll, publications, memberships, record keeping and many other tasks.  She has many interests, some of which include spending time with friends and family, traveling, gardening and golfing.
