Registration Information

Drop and Add
For online drop and add dates for the upcoming term see the Registrar's Office Announcements.
Registration for courses during drop and add can be done until 5:00 p.m. the second day of the term. Students can register themselves via Banner Web Self Service for courses with available seats. For courses requiring an override, students must obtain approval from the department offering the course. Overrides are required for any course that is closed, or for which the student has not met prerequisite, minimum class standing, major restriction, or other requirement listed for the course. Registration for courses after 5:00 p.m. day two of term is not allowed.
Course Audits
Students who choose to continue to learn in the classroom may request to receive a grade of “AU” (audit) instead of withdrawing from the course. Request to audit forms must be received in the Registrar’s Office by 5:00 p.m., 7th week Friday. Since the student is not altering his/her credit hours, the refund rates are not applicable.
Course Withdrawals
Courses dropped during drop and add (the first two days of the term) will not appear on the student’s transcript. After day two of the term, a withdrawal form must be completed and brought to the Registrar’s Office for processing. The course will appear on the student’s transcript as “W” (withdrawal). Course Withdrawal forms are available online at: or in the Registrar’s Office and must be received in the Registrar’s Office for processing by 5:00 p.m., 7th week Friday. Withdrawals after 7th week Friday are not allowed. Refund rates for course withdrawals are noted below.
