Jack Stock
Executive Director of Development

Jack Stock joined Kettering University in September 2000 and is responsible for the individual giving department including Annual Giving, Major Gifts, Estate and Planned Giving, Prospect Management and the Leadership Endowment. He has a B.A. from the University of Michigan-Flint. Jack has more than 16 years experience in fund development including Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan, the Second Harvest Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, the Flint Institute of Music, and Kids In New Directions (KIND) and he is a member of  Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). Jack is involved in community activities including Rotary International and St. John's Catholic Church in Davison. He has three children, Mallory, Leah and Philip.


Sue Weiss
Director of Gift and Estate Planning

Sue Weiss has been with Kettering University since 1989, gaining valuable understanding of a variety of aspects of the University throughout this time. In her present position, she offers ideas for alumni and friends of Kettering on how to ensure the future of Kettering University and its students by making a gift through will or trust, life insurance, gift annuity, or endowed scholarship.

As a parent of two GMI/Kettering alumni, she has a special appreciation for the value of the Kettering University co-op program and is enthusiastically dedicated to helping the University thrive in all ways.


Bonnie McArthur
Senior Advancement Officer

Bonnie McArthur works with alumni and friends of Kettering University in the overall fundraising efforts and is responsible for the President's Council giving society. She holds a bachelor degree in Recreation from Michigan State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Oakland University. Bonnie joined Kettering in January 2005 as the Stewardship Coordinator, worked as the Director of Annual Giving for over two years and now concentrates on soliciting Major Gifts for the University.

Prior to coming to Kettering, Bonnie worked extensively in non-profit organizations such as the Girl Scouts, CampFire USA and Junior Achievement. She and her husband have two grown sons. Bonnie is involved in several area organizations including Church of the Holy Spirit in Highland and the Zonta Club of Pontiac North Oakland.


Michele Loper
Director of Annual Giving

Michele Loper has been with Kettering since 2001. She is the Director of Annual Giving. She works with individual gifts and donations from alumni, friends,  faculty and  staff . She has held several positions at Kettering including Financial Aid Officer and Assistant Director of Academic Services.

Michele holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science degree from Kettering University.


Susan VanCamp
Director of Prospect Research

Susan Van Camp is the Director of prospect Research for the University Advancement Department at Kettering University. She has been in her position since January 1998 and has been a member of Kettering University's staff since 1986. In her current position, she conducts research for the University Advancement fundraisers and other key Kettering staff. She finds lost alumni, produces profiles, matches people, corporations, and foundations with specific funding needs that the University has identified through the strategic plan. Susan also identifies and tracks those alumni and friends with the greatest potential for giving to the University. She also maintains thousands of alumni and friends files and monitors many publications for updates on their career and life changes for all alumni and friends affiliated with Kettering University.

She is a member of the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) and the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA). Susan is an active member with the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement-Michigan Chapter (APRA-MI). Susan served on the APRA-MI Board from October 2000 to October 2006 as their Membership Director, Treasurer, and Secretary/Treasurer.

Susan graduated with honors in 1996 from Baker College with a bachelor's degree in Business Leadership.

Peggy Simpson
Executive Director of Corporate and Foundation Gifts

Peggy oversees the Corporate and Foundation giving area within the University Advancement department. She is responsible for guiding the development of corporate and foundation partnerships that support Kettering University.  Support comes in the form of scholarships, sponsorships and programmatic support as well as equipment and laboratory donations. Peggy has also worked in the Corporate Relations department, developing co-op positions at companies for Kettering students.


Lisa Graham
Director of Corporate & Foundation Gifts

Lisa works with faculty, staff, and alumni to develop and build relationships with corporations and foundations. These relationships lead to equipment donations, corporate sponsorships, scholarships, and program, research, and laboratory support.  

Lisa has served as the manager of Annual Giving at both the University of Michigan-Flint and Kettering University. Before entering the fundraising arena, Lisa held marketing and public relations positions at both the Flint Institute of Music and Interlochen Center for the Arts. She has also taught introductory computer courses for UM-Flint's Amaizing U program. Lisa holds a bachelor's degree from Baker College of Flint.

Eve Vitale
Associate Director of Corporate & Foundation Gifts  

Eve is responsible for finding and maintaining corporate and foundation partners who share Kettering’s mission and vision and procuring funding for the vital work done by the University’s faculty, staff and students.

In her previous position Eve was the Coordinator of High School Youth Ministry at the Church of the Holy Family in Grand Blanc. She holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Oakland University.
