Academic Materials and Course Student Storage Server

As part of Kettering University's goal of improving Student Computing Services, Kettering University 's Information Technology Department will now provide a Digital Based Network Storage Server for Undergraduate Students and On-Campus graduate Students to use in selected Windows Labs for Academic Course and Class Materials. This new service was funded via the Student Information Technology Fee.

All undergraduate Students and On-Campus Grad's Students now have unique Username and Passwords for use in Kettering Windows Domain XP labs and access to 100MB of network storage.

These labs are located at:

2-146 MC (Loeffler Lab)
AB 3-333 (Applied Mathematics Lab)
AB 4-501 (Communications lab)
4th Floor Thompson Hall Virginia Kettering lab.

You access the storage area by logging on to Windows XP Computers in Specific Labs and using your Windows Student User ID and Windows Student User Password and accessing the "S" drive.

Windows Student User ID - this user ID is the first four letters of the last name and the last four digits of the student id number (a 9-digit number beginning with 700). Your 9-digit student ID number which begins with "700" is located on your Student ID Card. It was also sent as part of your "Admissions Acceptance Letter" before you arrived at Kettering University .

The Windows Student User Password is the password listed on the password sheet given to you at student orientation. You will also be forced to change your password on your first log on.
