Do I need to take ORTN 101?
Yes, ORTN-101 is a requirement for graduation and thus a course all students must take.
What should I do if I miss a class?
Talk to your instructor and work out a plan. This usually involves a short writing assignment revolving around the days topics.
Can I come to a different section of the class to make up for the one I missed?
Generally, yes. Make sure you check with your instructor prior to doing so.
How do I turn in assignments?
Assignments will be collected before and after class. Late assignments may be turned in later in the term for full or partial credit, and this varies by what the homework is.
Is there an opportunity for extra credit?
Yes! Attending any professional development seminars or academic workshops offered by the Co-op Office or Academic Success Center will give you extra credit points torwards your grade.
