New Course for Premed Students |
|
Are you interested in a career in medicine? Or just thinking about it? If so, there is an exciting new class being offered fall 2012: MEDI-221 Elements of Medical Scribing. It is online and available to A and B section students. It will teach you the basic elements of working with Emergency Medicine physicians as a Medical Scribe. This includes the basics of: interviewing a patient, medical terminology, common medical complaints and drugs, privacy and medical cost issues. A field trip to a local hospital is also planned. How do you register? MEDI-221 is a 2-credit course being offered in the fall 2012 term. Registration requires approval from the Pre-Med Faculty, who will work in coordination with the Registrar’s Office to register A and B section students accordingly. Add/Drop Fall 2012 for Undergraduates |

Undergraduate web drop/add for the Fall 2012 term will begin Sunday, Sept 23, 2012, at 12:01 a.m. through Tuesday, Oct 02, 2012, at 5:00 p.m. No PINS are used for this period. On-campus drop/add will be held Monday, Oct 01, and Tuesday, Oct 02, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The web will remain open until Tuesday, Oct 02, at 5:00 p.m. for all open sections. All transactions must be finalized by Tuesday, Oct 02, at 5:00 p.m. |

Summer 2012 Grades |
|
Undergraduate mid-term grades for the Summer 2012 term are due to be entered into Banner or Blackboard by noon, Monday, August 20, 2012. Undergraduate final grades for the Summer 2012 term are due Wednesday, October 3, 2012 and will be posted to Banner, and available, on Friday, October 5, 2012 after 12:00 p.m. Graduate final grades for Summer 2012 are due Wednesday, October 24, 2012 and will be posted to Banner, and available, on Friday October 26, 2012 after 12:00 p.m. |

Math Placement Examination at Kettering University |
|
The Mathematics Placement (MP) Examination is for new freshmen and new transfer students entering Kettering University. University policy states that all entering students who have not received transfer credit or college level exam (AP or IBO) credit for the first calculus course, MATH-101, are required to take the MP Exam.
