There are many ways to promote the great things happening in your departments, clubs and organizations. One of the best ways is through the Section Engagements (rotating photos) near the top of the Current Students and Faculty & Staff pages. The Section Engagements put your events, awards or information front and center on the places the Kettering Community visits daily. Another great way to promote an event is on the Campus Calendar, which appears in several places on the Kettering website. Use of these two tools allows you to get the word out.

Section Engagement example

Submit a Section Engagement (rotating photo) for Current Students and/or Faculty & Staff

Use this form to request that PR & Communications create and post a Section Engagement item on either Current Students or Faculty & Staff.

Section Engagements are used to:

  • Promote Kettering University events
  • Announce awards, promotions, or new employees
  • Provide information

Please try to provide at least three business days notice for any posting, especially those that promote events.

How to submit an event

Any student or faculty and staff member at Kettering University can submit an event to be included on the Campus Calendar. To do so:

 

  1. Login to the website with your Kettering user name 
  2. Click on My Worbench in the upper left corner
  3. Click on Create Content tab in middle of page above My Profile
  4. Click on Event
  5. Fill in the event information and click Save
  6. Click on Logout in the upper right corner

Event submissions are reviewed daily. Your event will be included in the Campus Calendar within one business day.
