The University’s retirement benefits are administered by Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association and College Retirement Equities Fund (TIAA-CREF). This organization provides several investment options to select when participating in the Kettering University Retirement Plan.
There are two parts to the Kettering University Retirement Plan. (1) Retirement with defined university contributions and (2) Supplemental. You may be eligible to participate in one or both of these programs.

All information contained in the Summary Plan Descriptions supersedes any information provided here. You may also be eligible to participate in the supplemental part of the plan that allows you to save additional pre-tax income.
