Network Academic Storage for Students

Academic and Course Materials

A digital based network storage server is available for undergraduate students and on-campus graduate students to use in selected windows labs for academic course and class materials.   

These labs are located at:

  • 2-146 MC (Loeffler Lab)
  • 3-333 AB (Applied Mathematics Lab)
  • 4-501 AB (Communications lab)
  • 4th Floor Thompson Hall Virginia Kettering lab

To access the storage server, log on to the computers in the specified labs using your windows student user id and password to access the "S" drive.  

Windows Student User ID - this user ID is the first four letters of the last name and the last four digits of the student id number (a 9-digit number beginning with 700). Your 9-digit student ID number which begins with "700" is located on your Student ID Card. It was also sent as part of your "Admissions Acceptance Letter" before you arrived at Kettering University .

The Windows Student User Password is the password listed on the password sheet given to you at student orientation. You will also be forced to change your password on your first log on.
