Overhaul of Wireless Environment Throughout Campus Completed

Overhaul of our campus wireless environment has been completed.

Welcome! The purpose of this website is to enhance the support services we provide to our students, faculty, and staff members. We have provided a number of resources here to help you resolve problems, get answers to questions, and to suggest improvements to our services. We hope you will find this site and the material useful.

Wireless System Upgrade Status

The wireless upgrade that was scheduled for the week of 12/17/2012 has been completed successfully. Please see https://www.kettering.edu/offices-facilities/it/available-it-resources for a summary of the work performed.

Help sheets have been published with instructions to assist in the connection to our upgraded wireless system. Please see our helpsheets at https://www.kettering.edu/offices-facilities/information-technology/help-sheets. You will find help sheets for many of the most standard operating systems and devices. With the proliferation of smart devices, we have attempted to document the most common device operating systems with the realization that some may not be covered and may require IT staff assistance.

The KUSTAFF and KUW SSIDs will be decommissioned on Friday, January 18, 2013 to allow for everyone to transition to the new SSIDs.
