Frank M. Taylor, vice president of Material Planning and Logistics for Ford Motor Co., has been appointed to the Kettering University Board of Trustees for a three-year term.

Frank M. Taylor, vice president of Material Planning and Logistics for Ford Motor Co., has been appointed to the Kettering University Board of Trustees for a three-year term.

Taylor, a 1971 graduate of GMI/Kettering University, began his career as a co-op student at Delco Remy in Anderson, Ind. Taylor received a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from General Motors Institute (Kettering University). He has also attended the University of Illinois Executive Development Program, as well as executive programs at the Wharton School of Business, the University of Tennessee, and Thunderbird University.

Taylor currently has global responsibilities for material planning, production control, scheduling, inventory management, logistics and synchronous material flow. He joined Ford in September 1998. Prior to joining Ford, Taylor was the executive director, Production Control and Logistics of GM Powertrain.
