Kettering's top students during Fall Term 2001 have been honored with the naming of the Dean's List and the Provost's Achievement List.

The Dean's List is an honor earned by students who have attained a minimum weighted grade point average of 92.0 (out of a possible 100), have received no grades below an 85, and have earned a minimum of 16 credits.

The Provost's Achievement List recognizes improvement in academic performance from one academic term to another. To be eligible, students must be in the top 10 percent of those students showing academic improvement, have completed a minimum of three semesters, have a cumulative weighted grade average greater than or equal to 77, and have earned a minimum of 16 credits.

"The Dean's List and the Provost's Achievement List are two of the most significant honors at Kettering University," said Dr. John Lorenz, vice president for academic affairs and provost. "We extend our congratulations to the two groups of students who have worked hard to be named to these prestigious lists."
