Barbara Sosin, interim director of admissions for Kettering University, has been elected president of the Michigan Associationfor College Admissions Counseling (MACAC).

Barbara Sosin, interim director of admissions for Kettering University, has been elected president of the Michigan Associationfor College Admissions Counseling (MACAC). She was installed as president and will serve until May 2003.

MACAC is an education association of 1,100 secondary school counselors, college and university admission counselors andrelated individuals who work with students as they make the transition from high school to post secondary education. MACAC falls under the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC). There are 25 State and RegionalAssociations under NACAC.

Sosin, who previously served as associate director of marketing in the Enrollment Management division at Kettering, has worked at Kettering since 1996. She earned a bachelor's degree at Oakland University.
