Partnering with Kettering University

Dec 22, 2004

Co-op employers show their "metal" with new logos on the Corporate Partners Wall on Campus.

Two new logos were added to the corporate partners' wall in the Great Court of the Campus Center recently. Representatives from ETAS brought their company logo to campus to be added to the wall, and UPS came with an updated version of their corporate logo.

ETAS currently employs three Kettering students at their Ann Arbor, Mich., facility. UPS has 54 co-op students at 24 locations throughout the United States.

ETAS, offers tools and software components for the three basic aspects of electronic control units: control functions, diagnostic functions and platform software components. They also provide individualized engineering services, consulting, training, and support services for customers.

A spin-off as a subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH in 1994, ETAS GmbH spent nine years expanding its market position, acquiring LiveDevices Ltd. and Vetronix Corporation. The three companies ETAS, LiveDevices, and Vetronix and their regional offices around the globe now form the ETAS Group with 800 employees and company headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany.

UPS is the world's largest package delivery company and a global leader in supply chain services, offering an extensive range of options for synchronizing the movement of goods, information and funds. Headquartered in Atlanta, Ga., UPS serves more than 200 countries and territories worldwide and operates the largest franchise shipping chain, The UPS Store.
