Columbus Day is a ‘Dog Day’ at Kettering University – showcasing ‘hands on’ ways to connect to academics in the home of the Bulldogs

Dog Days Fall FestKettering University is offering a free, fun and casual way for high school and transfer students to explore how college life can focus on pre-med, technology, engineering, science, business, math and more – during a special Columbus Day edition of “Dog Days” on Monday, Oct. 8, at the home of the Bulldogs.

“It’s a quick and easy way to tour campus, mingle with current college students and meet our extraordinary professors,” said Karen Full, director of Admissions.  “We encourage families to experience this Fall Fest open house and lunch.

“We’d like to show students the hands on application of The Kettering Advantage,” Full said.  “There is simply no substitute for experience in today’s marketplace,” she continued.  “Kettering connects students to learning outside the classroom as early as their freshman year with more than 500 of the best companies in the country.  Kettering offers a fixed-tuition guarantee and Kettering has some of the best engineering facilities available to undergraduates in the world.”

Kettering University is located at 1700 University Avenue in Flint (48504).
