High school students can "Discover Kettering" Aug. 3

High school students interested in engineering, applied sciences, mathematics, and business management are invited to attend "Discover Kettering" an on-campus open house at Kettering University in Flint Saturday, Aug. 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

High school students interested in engineering, applied sciences, mathematics, and business management are invited to attend "Discover Kettering" an on-campus open house at Kettering University in Flint Saturday, Aug. 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Students and families wanting to know more about Kettering University's campus, faculty, staff and students are invited to participate. Faculty, staff and students will be present in an open-house atmosphere that will consist of: a College Expo, from noon to 3 p.m., where all of the academic departments and student-related departments will be represented, along with tours of Kettering's Academic Building, Thompson Residence Hall, and the Connie and Jim John Recreation Center.

Lab presentations showing off Kettering's state-of-the-art labs include manufacturing, automotive, laser radioisotope, heat transfer, electricity and solid-state electronics, and metallurgy labs.

Information sessions for admission, corporate relations and financial aid will be offered multiple times. A student panel question and answer session will also be offered.
