Free business valuation seminar

A free seminar Nov. 6 will help business owners better understand the value of their business and who is qualified to do business valuations. The event is hosted by Kettering University's Region 6 MI-SBTDC.

Determining the value of a business can be extremely important at various times in its lifecycle. A two-hour seminar on “Business Valuation” is being offered on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 8:30 a.m. at Kettering University, corner of Chevrolet and W. University avenues in Flint.  The seminar is in Room A, on the fourth floor of the CampusCenter.  It will cover what business valuation is, the reasons and importance of knowing the value of your business, methods for valuing, and who is qualified to do business valuation.

Presented by Lewis and Knopf, CPAs, PC, and sponsored by Kettering’s Region 6 Michigan Small Business and Development Center, the seminar is free but advanced registration is requested by calling 810-762-9660.
