Feb 11, 2005

A global engineering services company was on campus Feb. 10 to add their corporate logo to the Kettering "Walls of Fame" in the Great Court.

FEV Engine Technology visited campus Feb. 10 to deliver their corporate logo for the "Walls of Fame" as they are known around Kettering. FEV is an active corporate partner, employing 10 co-op students and interested in hiring and additional four students at their North American Technical Center in Auburn Hills, Mich.

A co-op employer since 2000, FEV recently saw its first three co-op students graduate and hired two as full-time employees, Nicholas Chomic and Justin Via.

FEV offers a complete range of engineering services, providing global support to the transportation industry in the design, prototyping and development of advanced gasoline, diesel, and alternative-fueled engines. They also provide full engine integration and in-vehicle calibration services.

Their visit included a presentation by Dr. Joel Berry and Dr. Etim Ubong of the Mechanical Engineering Department, a tour of the Mott Engineering and Science Center and presentations by five students who are current co-op employees of FEV.
