FANUC Robotics donation cuts across disciplines
Students in Lucy King's Robotics course and students in Jackie El-Sayed's Machine Components Design course worked together in groups to give Power Point presentations and demonstrations on the use of four new robots from FANUC Robotics in assembling a battery-operated flashlight.
On Tuesday, March 25, students in Lucy King's Robotics course and students in Jackie El-Sayed's Machine Components Design course worked together in groups to give Power Point presentations and demonstrations on the use of four new robots from FANUC Robotics in assembling a battery-operated flashlight. The goal of this final learning experience for the term was tohave students from different majors work as a cross-discipline team in designing grippers for specific applications.
