Kettering's National Cooperative Education Employment Fair Nov. 8-9 attracted a strong and long list of companies seeking talented co-op students to hire.

47 companies from around the country.

130+ students seeking co-op jobs.

The blend was a good and productive one when Kettering hosted its National Cooperative Education Employment Fair Nov. 8-9.  The list of corporations and companies that sent recruiters to the event was impressive, organizers said.

Venetia Petteway, corporate relations executive, said the employment fair was full of "forward-thinking" companies.  "In the mist of a challenging economy, the National Co-op Employment Fair was alive and thriving with companies that understand the importance of investing in the development of their future workforce and leaders," she said.  "It was a pleasure to host such innovative and forward-thinking organizations that value the benefits of cooperative education and their partnership with Kettering University."
