Kettering expects a strong showing at the upcoming National Employment Fair on campus Nov. 3-5, on par with the August fair that drew big name companies and a larger number of job postings.

Some of the most successful companies in the world will be at Kettering University for the 2004 National Cooperative Education Employment Fair; specifically here to recruit tomorrow's business and industry leaders. The event is Wednesday, Nov. 3, through Friday, Nov. 5, in Kettering's Campus Center and Academic Buildings.

Employers will begin the three day event with Information Sessions from 6-8 p.m. in the Academic Building. The sessions are an excellent opportunity for students to learn more about employers and their respective programs, as well as positions available at various locations. Day Two is the employment fair from 2-6 p.m. in the International Room. Students can visit company representatives and share their resumes with interested companies. Day Three is Formal Interview Day in the International Room from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Employers who wish to interview students can do so during interview day.

"Our national co-op job fair is an outstanding and unique opportunity for our employer partners to interview diverse and qualified candidates to fulfill their employment needs. Employers can conduct informal and formal interviews, and talk about career opportunities at their companies. Our students have employment and networking opportunities with a variety of corporations," said Tammy Loud, Executive Director of Cooperative Education and Career Services.
