Emeritus Professors inducted
Celebrating more than a century of teaching, the 2004 Emeritus ceremonies took place on Aug. 19 at President John's home.
Four more faculty members were added to Kettering's Emeritus Professors group during ceremonies at President John's home Aug. 19. President James John and Vice President of Academic Affairs and Provost John Lorenz welcomed: David E. Parker, professor emeritus of Applied Physics, Robert W. Brown, associate professor emeritus of Mathematics, and Wendall E. Grove, professor emeritus of Mathematics, into the emeritus group.
Parker taught for 39 1/2 years and just recently retired. Brown taught at GMI from 1954 to 1995. Grove spent 35 years on campus, retiring in 1987. Roger P. Grobe, associate professor emeritus of Mathematics, was unable to attend.
