Distinguished Kettering University alumni, faculty recognized with new Honor Wall

Kettering University unveiled a new Honor Wall in the Great Court of the Campus Center on May 15 during 2015 Homecoming festivities. The wall recognizes the accomplishments of distinguished alumni and faculty.

"We are celebrating the addition of a beautiful dynamic element to the story of the Great Court,” said Kettering University President Dr. Robert K. McMahan. “Our successful alumni and dedicated faculty are critical to our success, so from this time forward the south wall of the Great Court will honor our distinguished alumni and faculty."

Faculty honorees are current or retired Kettering University professors who have won four or more of the following awards: Rodes Professorship; Outstanding Researcher; Distinguished Researcher; Outstanding Applied Researcher; Outstanding New Researcher; Outstanding Teaching Award; Faculty Distinguished Citizenship Award; Educational Scholar Award; Tutt Award for Innovation in Teaching.

Annually, following the Circle of Excellence Awards newly qualifying faculty names will be added on the wall.

Alumni honorees on the wall are recipients of the Distinguished Alumnus Award, given out annually by the Kettering University Alumni Association. Yearly additions will be added following the Alumni Awards Dinner and Reception each fall.
