'Discover Kettering' Aug. 4

High school students interested in engineering, applied sciences, mathematics, and business management are invited to attend "Discover Kettering" an on-campus open house at Kettering University in Flint Saturday, Aug. 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

High school students interested in engineering, applied sciences, mathematics, and business management are invited to attend "Discover Kettering" an on-campus open house at Kettering University in Flint Saturday, Aug. 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Students and families wanting to know more about Kettering University's campus, faculty, staff and students are invited to participate. Faculty, staff and students will be present in an open house atmosphere that will consist of: a College Expo, where all of the academic departments and student-related departments will be represented, along with tours of Kettering's Academic Building, Thompson Residence Hall, and the Connie and Jim John Recreation Center. Lab presentations showing off Kettering's state-of-the-art labs include manufacturing, automotive, laser radioisotope, heat transfer, electricity and solid-state electronics, and metallurgy labs.

Information sessions for admission, corporate relations and financial aid will be offered multiple times. A student panel question and answer session will also be offered.
