David Lester, of Kodak, is Kettering's newest trustee

David Lester, Human Resource director for Kodak's Consumer Imaging Business in North America, has been named to a three-year term on the Kettering University Board of Trustees.

David Lester, Human Resource director for Kodak's Consumer Imaging Business in North America, has been named to a three-year term on the Kettering University Board of Trustees. His term will begin immediately.

Lester has been with Kodak for 20 years, serving in total quality management, industrial engineering and information systems in a manufacturing environment. As an internal management consultant he has worked in the areas of organization development,change management, strategy development, benchmarking and business process reengineering. He is co-author of "Beyond the Basics of Reengineering: Survival Tactics for the '90's."

He is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA in Human Resource Management.

Lester coaches youth sports, is active in his church and leads a career network for the unemployed in his community. He and his wife Laurie have three young children.
