Campus closing early due to water outages
Kettering University will close at 3 p.m. June 23 and 24 due to a temporary cessation of water services. Regular business office hours will resume at 8 a.m. Thursday, June 24, and Friday, June 25.
The City of Flint has informed Kettering that water services to the entire campus will be shut down from 3 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23, and from 3 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, due to ongoing construction near campus. Campus will close at 3 p.m. both days. Regular business office hours will resume at 8 a.m. on Thursday, June 24, and Friday, June 25.
Port-a-johns continue to be available in the outdoor fleet parking area between the Campus Center and Mott Center. The City of Flint has said that after water services are restored, the water will be drinkable but may have sediment in it. We anticipate there will be additional outages and will provide information as it becomes available. Direct any questions to Physical Plant at 810-762-9750.
