#1 - DEX State Champions!

Kettering's two chapters of Delta Epsilon Chi have brought home the Michigan Marketing and Management Association's state championship.

It took diligent work and preparation, but the 21 members of Kettering University's two chapters of Delta Epsilon Chi (DEX) won 33 contest honors during the State Career Development Conference for Michigan Marketing and Management Association/Delta Epsilon Chi. Kettering's chapters are sponsored by the Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering and Business (IMEB) Department.

Ten college and university chapters participated in the competition. Kettering captured:

** five first place honors,
** five second place honors,
** five third place awards, and
** 18 honorable mentions.

The Delta Epsilon Chi conference challenges students through exams, solved-case study problems, and role-playing with industry judges. The state contests were in Lansing from Feb. 4-7. The award winners are now qualified to compete in the International Delta Epsilon Chi Career Development Conference in Anaheim, Calif., May 4-7.

Delta Epsilon Chi is a student organization focused on developing future business leaders. It is a college division of DECA, Inc.
