Why does Kettering University’s Library and Archives need Friends?

The academic life of a university revolves around its library. The Kettering University Library and Scharchburg Archives serve a dynamic student body, an active research and teaching faculty, and a vibrant local community. The library provides access to information in whatever forms necessary to whomever needs it. Fulfilling these goals in these rapidly changing times is a great challenge, which can only be met by the dedicated service of the Library and archival staff and friends. The goal of FOLA is to bring about the continuous improvement of the Library and Archives, to promote academic research, and to advance technologically, all of which will benefit Library and Archive patrons.
