How To Become a Kagle Mentor

Community Tutoring Mentor Requirements

  • All class standings are welcome.
  • Able to tutor Tuesdays and/or Thursdays evenings from 6-8 p.m.

Creek Mentor Requirements

  • Must be a Junior, Senior, or Grad Student (all others must be considered by Director)
  • Must be comfortable with speaking in front of groups of 30/max
  • Must be able to lead workshops discussing important chosen topics

KSS Mentor Requirements

  • Must be at a least Sophomore (Freshman need Directors approval)
  • Must mentor at elementary school 4hrs/month
  • Record monthly journals about experiences with child to be handed in to Director
  • Can NOT perform any out-of-school activities with child

KFL Mentor Requirements

  • Must be a Sophomore or Junior
  • Mandatory completion of two projects per term
  • Must be able to facilitate and coordinate projects

KITE Mentor Requirements

  • Must be a Junior, Senior, or Grad Student (all others must be considered by Director)
  • Required to supervise high school students in activities and field trips (six per term)

Kagle E-Board

  • Mentor will be selected by current E-board
  • Mentor must have served at least two consecutive terms in a signature program
  • Must be at least a Sophomore II
  • Must have a full time commitment to Kagle (both school and work term)
