What is the one trait you want people to know you for?

Those who know me will often refer to me as industrious. I have the tendency to simply work until I am physically unable to, and I don’t mind being known for that trait.

What is your favorite quote/ saying?

I’m acute guy.

What do you think can be improved at Kettering and what steps will you take to accomplish this improvement?

Kettering is an excellent education institution. In the words of Professor Bell: “You cannot afford to go anywhere else”. So instead of false promising to revolutionize everything, like many of my fellow candidates, I believe it’s time we’ve focused on simply improving what we have. For instance, better recreational centers would benefit the student body by providing relief from school work, this can be accomplished by funneling more funds towards the respective committee. A partnership with GEO would also benefit the school by instigating ‘go green’ movements to reduce energy consumption of the school and streamlining the current recycling effort.

What has been you biggest success and failure? What have you learned from them?

My biggest success has been the development of a thermal depolymerization research project, making the device a viable producer of biomass and light crude oil. From this experience I have learned how to successfully complete a complex task in a timely manner while not defaulting on my other responsibilities. My biggest failure has been the failure to recognize limits. I have overstepped the boundaries set by administration in past leadership positions and I have learned from that mistake not to do so again.

What is your motivation for wanting to represent the student body via Student Senate?

Representing a population of people has always been a strong suit of mine. In my past leadership position in FBLA, I was district president, presiding over 2,000 members across my respective counties. My motivation to do so at Kettering is purely intrinsic and one that aims to benefit not only the student body, but the other persons that contribute to this campuses operation.
