  • Microsoft's "Get Started" Training Tab
    This downloadable "get started" training allows you to download a connection to the resources right into your program, so it's there when you need it.Once installed, it provides a "Get Started" tab within the application ribbon and includes video demonstrations to show you how the 2007 applications work, interactive tools to show you where the 2003 commands and buttons appear in the 2007 ribbon and free online training courses to help you get the most out of the 2007 programs quickly.
  • Interactive Command Reference Guides
    These interactive guides allow you to easily familiarize yourself with the new version of Office 2007. Select a command in an Office 2003 application and you will be presented with the steps taken to complete the same action in Office 2007 applications. Run the guides from Microsoft's website, or download them to your own computer.
  • Mapping Workbooks
    Another resource from Microsoft to help you familiarize yourself with the Office 2007 Suite, these workbooks provide you with a list of all Office 2003 menu and toolbar commands and their locations in the 2007 Office system. The first tab of each workbook provides tips for customizing, finding and printing the lists.
    Note: These mapping workbooks are Microsoft Excel files, so you will need to have a version of Excel on your computer in order to view them.

  • Office Open XML Format Information
    The Microsoft Office suite applications now use a new format as the default file format. Based on XML, this format uses the ZIP file container, which is compressed and up to 75% smaller than previous Office file formats. This Microsoft page will provide you with additional information pertaining to the new file format in Office 2007.
