The "fishbowl" lab is used by students taking IME 100 Mechanical Engineering Design in their first Kettering exposure to mechanisms using Working Model 2D software. They "reverse engineer" a toy that is powered with a simple motor and driven by a set of gears/cranks/sliders. They then use Working Model 2D to create a simple model of the mechanisms within the toy.The ACDS Lab is located in Room 1-214 in the Academic Building.
