Automotive Capstone Design Studio (Fishbowl)

The ACDS Lab (sometimes referred to as the Fishbowl).  The "fishbowl" lab is used by students taking IME 100 Mechanical Engineering Design in their first Kettering exposure to mechanisms using Working Model 2D software.  They "reverse engineer" a toy that is powered with a simple motor and driven by a set of gears/cranks/sliders.  They then use Working Model 2D to create a simple model of the mechanisms within the toy.The ACDS Lab is located in Room 1-214 in the Academic Building.  It has 9 pc's and it is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
