Several updates were performed this year in the Windows XP Laboratories and to IT systems.

MC) received new PC's. Also Moldflow 7.0 was upgraded to Moldflow 8.1.
The new PC's in this lab have INTEL CORE-2-DUO E6660 2.4GHZ processors with 2GB of ram. This makes them 8 to 20 times faster in productivity, when compared to the computers they replaced.

Virginia Kettering Residence Hall Computer Lab and
TRW Satellite Computer Lab
in Thompson Hall received new PC's.
The new PC's in this lab have INTEL CORE-2-DUO E6660 2.4GHZ processors with 2GB of ram. This makes them 8 to 20 times faster in productivity, when compared to the computers they replaced.
- Week of 2/4/2008 - The Applied Mathematics lab (3-333AB) received new PC's.

- 1/7/2008 - Various software and hardware upgrades were performed during this week.
Software Updates
Matlab 6.5 was updated to Matlab 2007B (7.5) in the Student PC Labs.
Maple 9.5 was updated to Maple 11 in the Student PC Labs.
Hardware Updates
The General PC lab (3-501/503AB) and the
Virginia W. Kettering Professional Communication Studio (4-501AB) received new PC's.
