To install the SSH Client, do the following:
- Download the SSH Client from here.
- Depending on your browser, you will need to click open, or find the downloaded file and double click on it.
- After some brief initialization, you will be presented with the following:
Click "Next"
- You will next see the following screen:
After reading through the license agreement, click "Yes"
- This next screen should appear
You may change the directory, but the default is fine, click "Next"
- You will now be prompted to select a program folder
Again, the default is fine, click "Next"
- You will next be prompted to choose components
Click "Next"
- The next screen is just to confirm.
Click "Next" here, and wait for the install to complete
- This screen will confirm a successful install.
Click "Finish"
- The first time that you connect you will need to enter in the following information:
Host Name: This will normally be nova.kettering.edu but could be something else such as webtech.kettering.edu for certain courses.
User Name: refers to your Kettering user name:
