Granting Calendar Permissions in Webmail - Quick StartThis Quick Start will show you how to Grant users access to your Calendar using Webmail. 1. Login to https://webmail.kettering.edu
2. Click on the "Calendar" tab.
3. Select "Manage Calendars" from the "Current Calendars" drop-down selection box on the top right hand side of the page.
4. In the Manage Calendars Page select "Edit" in the "Properties" column of the "Personal Calendar" that you wish to modify permissions to. Clicking "Edit" will bring up a new window called "Edit Calendar".
5. In the "Edit Calendar" window select "Share this Calendar with Specific Users". This will bring you down the page the the "Share this Calendar with Specific Users" area.
6. Click on the "Add from Address Book".
7. Use the "Search" function to find the user you wish to grant access to, Select the user (or users) on the left and then click "Add Addresses".
8. Back in the "Share Calendar with Specific Users" area, you can now select the permissions you wish to grant to users.
9. You may also (or instead) simply implement the "Share This Calendar" settings. This will allow all other calendar users (via Outlook or WebMail/Cal) to "see" your calendar availability and/or events" Click on "Share This Calendar"
10. Click the "Anyone can view my availability" box to allow all users to be able to check your availability. When they subscribe to your calendar, events will show as "busy" but will show the time-frame. Click the "Anyone can invite me to an event" box to allow any user to invite you to an event-time that is not "busy". Also, you may (if you are not concerned about event titles/content), click the "Anyone can read my calendar" box. This will allow any user to read the content of your event(s).
11. Click "Save".
12. You can then Click on the "Mail" tab to get out of the "Manage Calendars" view.
