Setting Up and Removing an E-mail forward via Webmail

This helpsheet will instruct a webmail user on how to add and remove an E-mail forward via Webmail. An e-mail forward will forward all incoming e-mail messages that are originally addressed to your Kettering E-mail Address to another E-mail address of your choice. You have the option to forward the messages and leave a copy on the Kettering E-mail server or to forward the messages and not leave a copy on the kettering Server.

Enable E-mail Forwarding

  1. Log in to Webmail with your Kettering User ID and password.



  2. Click on the "Options" tab, followed by "Mail" in the second tab set, and then "Settings" in the third tab set.




  3. In the "Mail Forwarding" Section Check the checkbox next to "Enable forwarding". Type in the address that you want e-mail to be forwarded to into the "E-mail Address" textbox and Click "Add".

    If you do not want to keep a copy of the e-mail messages that are sent to your Kettering E-mail account Check the checkbox next to "Do not leave a copy on server".

    Click "Save", your E-mail forwarding should now be setup.




Disable E-mail Forwarding

  1. Follow Steps 1 and 2 above for Enabling E-mail Forwarding to Login and go to Mail Settings.
  2. In the "Mail Forwarding" Section uncheck the checkbox next to "Enable forwarding".

    You may keep the address listed or you can select the address in the "Mail Forwarding List" and Click "Remove".

    Click "Save"
