Changing Your Passwords

Change PC/Kettering Domain Passwords

Type Alt+Ctrl+Delete.

Your screen will clear and a "Windows Security" window will appear in the middle of your screen. At the bottom left hand corner of this window, click on the "Change Password" button.

A "Change Password" window will then appear. Type in your "Old Password", the "New Password" you want, "Confirm New Password", and click the "OK" button.

Change E-mail/LDAP Passwords (Also changes Blackboard and Banner Web)

Open a web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla, etc.). Go to address https://webmail.kettering.edu.

You should see this screen:

Login to Webmail ( Sun Communications Express). On the main tab set select "Options", then select "Global", and then select "Change Password".

Type in your current password into the "Current Password" field, then type your new password twice into the "New Password" and "Re-enter New Password" fields.

Click the "Save" button to change your password..

After you change the Webmail password and if you are using MS Outlook, you will be prompted to enter your new password.

If you are using the calendar function, you will also be prompted to enter the same new password for the calendar Sun Java System Connector fo Outlook function.
