Chemical Engineering Educational Objectives
Kettering University’s Chemical Engineering degree program is a strong interdisciplinary program which draws on the strengths of our exceptional faculty, curricula, laboratories, and unique co-op component.
All Chemical Engineering graduates graduate with:
- Chemistry and physics with sufficient knowledge in the application of these basic sciences to enable graduates to design, analyze, and control physical and chemical processes;
- the teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills to enable them to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams; and
- the skills, confidence, professionalism and experience necessary to assume positions of technical and/or managerial leadership as their careers develop.
