What to Expect - What to Bring
Making the Most of Kamp Kettering

What to Wear: Every day, you should wear closed-toe shoes* with socks, long pants, and a top that completely covers your midriff. We'll provide safety glasses for everyone. If you aren't properly dressed, you can't participate in the experiments.
*We recommend you wear athletic shoes so you can go to our Recreation Center at the end of the day.
What to Bring: Yourself! We'll provide backpacks filled with everything else you need to make the most of your time at Kettering.
What Not to Bring:
- Laptop computers or other expensive items; we'll provide all the equipment you need, plus we can't be responsible for expensive personal belongings.
- Cell phones are not allowed at any time between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. If your parents need to contact you during the day, they should leave a message with Virginia Hill (762-9873). We'll provide a phone for you to call them back.
- Lunch: We'll provide lunch and snacks every day at no additional cost. You may not take food or drinks into classes, labs, or the Rec Center.
