Financial Aid 2008-2009 Academic Calendar

February 15, 2008 priority date to submit the FAFSA to be considered for the Michigan Competitive Scholarship/Michigan Tuition Grant (MCS/MTG) for incoming Freshman.
March 1, 2008 Priority date to submit FAFSA to be considered for the MCS/MTG for upperclass students.
April 4, 2008 Upperclass Scholarship Applications Deadline.
May 2008 MCS/MTG Award Notification from State of Michigan.
April 2009 Last month to apply for Federal Aid for 2008-09 academic year.

Financial Aid Checklist

FAFSA completed on line via www.FAFSA.ed.gov   (Be sure to include Kettering University School Code: 002262)

Report co-op exclusion on FAFSA, if applicable. 

Review results of FAFSA, make any changes, if necessary.

Complete & send Upperclass Scholarship Application to Financial Aid Office.

If applying for an Alternative Loan, complete application at least 30 days before classes start.
