Dr. Norman C. Irish, visiting professor of Business
Ph.D. in Business from Wayne State University, with expertise in organization behavior, development and human resources management.
Irish finds Kettering students to be bright, adaptive and experiential. He feels Kettering students are among some of the brightest students he has seen and they possess good application skills. He originally came to Kettering to assist in building up the Department of Business but what he enjoys most about teaching at Kettering is that he is "giving something back to the community through education after 35 years in business."
His hot tip for prospective students: "if they are prepared to work, they will get an excellent education and the work experiences to set them up for a lifetime."
Hidden talents and outside interests: When not guiding his students through the wonders of business, Irish enjoys the great outdoors by playing softball and golf, boating and fishing.
