The Co-Op Managers are integral to the smooth functioning of the co-op program, serving the needs of both students and corporate partners alike. Among their many responsibilities, they:

 

  • Serve as a liaison between employer, student, and the University
  • Make suggestions for appropriate co-op or experiential learning positions
  • Provide information about Kettering’s academic programs
  • Identify student candidates, refer resumes to employers, and facilitate interview arrangements
  • Advise employers regarding appropriate wages and benefits
  • Counsel students on career goals, work ethics, and help match their skills with employer needs
  • Work with employers to develop quality work plans
