ALERT : Happy Thanksgiving! Kettering University will be closed on Thursday, November 26 and Friday November 27 for the Thanksgiving holiday.

This CUE option requires students to apply and be accepted through CCUE in collaboration with a research faculty member. Students are advised by a faculty member as well as at least one qualified committee member.

The topic is determined by a Kettering faculty member and approved by CCUE. Students produce a tangible artifact including a comprehensive final written report. This is a two-term project with registeration during the last work term. In addition, participation in an annual Kettering poster session and/or presentation of the thesis is strongly encouraged.

Students pursuing the Research Thesis and employed, must initially submit a letter of approval from the employer on company letterhead. Upon CCUE receiving this letter or if the student is unemployed, the student discusses possible projects with the CCUE.
