On Thursday, August 23, the Wellness Center, CETL, and the Academic
Success Center will host a workshop on managing disruptive students.
The event will take place in the Cribathon at 12:30 p.m. We will
provide lunch. All faculty and staff are invited to attend.
Jessica Nanna, Director of Learning & Performance at Ulliance, our
Student Assistance and Employee Assistance programs provider, will
discuss strategies for managing disruptive students in classrooms and
labs, as well as in other academic and co-curricular environments. We
will also discuss University policies and procedures for handling
disruptive students. Our goal is to provide knowledge and resources
all of us may utilize to manage students' disruptive behavior,
wherever and whenever it occurs.
Please join us for this informative, interactive workshop.
