The GREEN Summit brings approx. 300 junior & high school students as well as their teachers from Genesee and surrounding counties to share the health of our local waterways. The students have spent a considerable amount of time collecting water samples from rivers, lakes, creeks, ponds, etc. and working with the Flint River Watershed Coalition to run their samples through lab processes. The students then write reports and share their findings with other schools.

This event will take place beginning in McKinnon Theater at 8:30 a.m. and then students will go to break out sessions on the 4th floor AB in classrooms 4-101 - 4-104 and 4-301 - 4-309 until 2 p.m.

This event is sponsored by the Flint River Watershed Coalition.
