Bosch Marketplace, 2-6 p.m.
From 2-6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30, the Bosch Big Band members will offer a meet and greet and an opportunity to experience Bosch products at the Bosch Marketplace. The Bosch Marketplace will be set up outside the International Room on the fifth floor of the Campus Center. Visitors are welcome to meet the band and get more information on the Bosch Group, a leading global supplier of technology and services.
Bosch Big Band featuring Trombonist Jiggs Whigham offers free jazz and swing concert at Kettering University in Flint on Tuesday, Oct. 30.
The 8 p.m. concert is open to the public. It will be in the International Room of Kettering University’s Campus Center building, located on the corner of University and Chevrolet avenues in Flint.
The concert band’s repertoire comprises more than 150 songs with different styles, ranging from swing, blues, soul, funk, jazz rock and Latin for both music lovers and dancers. Band leader and trumpeter is Josef Herzog.
