Training Standards
Each Kettering CE course must meet a set of training standards. These standards are as follows:
- Course content should focus primarily on the application of knowledge, skills and attitudes for the workplace
- Participants ability to perform on the job should be improved through course participation
- The majority of the course should involve hands-on-activities, exercises and discussions that actively engage the learner
- The instructor should possess the following qualities:
- Professional public speaking and presentation skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to change training content and delivery during a course, if needed
- Evidence of knowledge and expertise of the topic
In addition, each new course experiences a series of beta tests. The course is beta tested at 50% completion, 80% completion and 100% completion. If the corporate partner wishes to have a representative attend the 100% beta test, they are welcome to attend at no additional charge.
