Course Description:

Macromedia FLASH is a very powerful, yet reasonably simple software, which can enable a developer (novice to expert) to animate essentially whatever he or she desires on the internet (2 dimensions only). Because the FLASH player is a standard “plug-in” in almost all web browsers, it is the best possible software to use for internet animation projects.

 

This is the third of several seminars that will be offered . Through these seminars, the student will progressively learn the how to program effectively in the FLASH environment.

 

Course Objectives:

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

1)         Understand moderately advanced features and characteristics of the underlying FLASH code: FLASH Action Script.

2)         Have a basic understanding of object oriented programming in the FLASH environment.

3)         Have the ability to utilize Action Script coding in order to control relatively complex “movie clips” and “buttons”.

4)         Have an advanced understanding of the FLASH library.
